Hi I am Beth, Junior Ed of What's On 4 School Kids and I update this page weekly!

My mum runs this website and this page is just for you kids out there. So if you're fed up with nothing but homework and fancy joining a club this is the site for you!

Come on, chat on our forum, there is a part just for us kids, It would be so cool to hear what you have been doing! Follow the Bear and walk to school safely

Pom-Bear recognises the many benefits for kids of walking to school and offers the following safety advice for parents supporting Walk to School month this October.

Pom-Bear’s safe walking tips

Learn the Green Cross Code and put this into practice every time your out walking. Children should not walk to school alone until they have learnt and confidently practice the code
Where possible, walk on pavements, keeping well away from the curb.
Make sure you can be seen at all times by using reflective and high visibility clothing. This is especially important at night and as evenings become darker during winter
Pay attention when walking and never listen to personal stereo systems, use mobile phones or hand-held games.

A Guitar Hero Interview

This week I interviewed Thomas, he is learning to play guitar and I wanted to find out more about learning to play a musical instrument.

Do you find guitar lessons fun? Sometimes they are sometimes they are a bit difficult.

How long have you be taking guitar lessons? About a year.

Do you like guitar lessons?

Yes, they're great, I like learning how to do new things.

How long are guitar lessons?

Half an hour.

How many times a day do you practice?

Twice a day.

Back To School!

Well guys, I know some of you have already gone back to School, I go back on Wednesday, I will have to carry my holiday homework, a 3D map of France! Did any of you get anything like that to do?
