Nominees are:
La Jolie Ronde
What their customers have to say:
La Jolie Ronde offers children a structured and fun programme for learning a new language. Seeing the children become
more and more confident in speaking another language shows the carefully prepared books, CD and teaching materials are
of excellent quality.
Their course is aimed at having fun and many a time children do not realise that they are learning. Their dedication to
language learning is admirable.
Actionnaires
What their customers have to say:
In the UK there are an estimated 24,000 blind and partially sighted children and our vision is very simple, to give every
child a sporting chance. Actionnaires is a multi activity sports project which aims to release the potential of blind and
partially sighted children between 8 and 16 years of age (under 8's are more than welcome providing parents/guardians remain
at the session) through recreational sport, building their confidence, self esteem and physical skills whilst encouraging
them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are no other established projects like this currently within the UK, clubs are
free of charge. At present there are 29 Actionnaires clubs located within the UK, the number of clubs is set to dramatically
increase over the next few years, making Actionnaires more accessible to thousands of visually impaired children and young
people who unfortunately due to geographical location are unable to attend any of our current multi-sports clubs. We are
extremely proud of the work that we are doing and our Actionnaires are fantastic examples of children and young people who
don't let their disability stop them making the most of life, making friends, enjoying sport and having fun – pretty
inspirational stuff for all of us.
Brazilian Soccer Schools
What their customers have to say:
This is the best method of football coaching for children that I have seen. The coaching sessions are extremely professional
and the children are not only encouraged to develop their football skills but also as young people.
Gymbobs
What their customers have to say:
My child has worked through the Tumble Tots programme and is now enjoying independence in the Gymbobs class.
